Cynthia Moore Obituary

CYNTHIA J. MOORE, 61 DURAND - Cynthia J. Moore, 61, of Durand, Illinois died at 2:55 p.m. Monday, April 8, 2013, in SwedishAmerican Hospital, after a lengthy illness. Born July 7, 1951, in Beloit, Wisconsin; the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William and Blythe (Peck) Lee. She graduated from Clinton High School, Class of 1969. She married Russell A. Moore in Rockton, Illinois on August 26, 1978. She was employed as a secretary by Appraisal Services in Rockford, Illinois for over 16 years. She loved spending time with family and friends. Survivors include husband, Russell A. Moore; daughter, Amanda (Ethan) Bruce, all of Durand, Illinois; daughter, Patricia (David) Taylor of South Beloit, Illinois; son, Ronald Moore of Janesville, Wisconsin; four grandchildren, Shayleigh, Quentin, Memphis Moore and Sebastian Taylor; sister, Sandra (Stanley) Schaefer of Wabasha, Minnesota; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother; and a niece. Celebration of Life will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 13, in Howard Cemetery located on Campbell Rd., Durand, Illinois, with Pastor Brian Channel of Durand United Methodist Church officiating. Cremation rites to be accorded. A visitation will be held at McCorkle Funeral Home - Durand Chapel, 101 Main St., from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, April 12. A memorial is being established.
