CAROL THOMPSON Obituary
Carol Cross Thompson (Age 79)
Of Annapolis, MD, passed away on March 21, 2021 after a long battle with Parkinson's Disease. She leaves behind her beloved husband, William E. Thompson; her children, Karen Brown Beveridge (Peter) and David Brown (Brenda); and four grandchildren, Kelsey and Westin Beveridge, Harrison and Torie Brown. She is predeceased by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Walker Cross, and her brother, Dr. John Cross. Carol was born and raised in the Washington, DC region where she attended National Cathedral School then the University of Maryland. Carol was a fundraising executive for numerous nonprofits and educational institutions. Her greatest professional legacy is the founding of The Community Foundation of Anne Arundel County.A remembrance of her life will be held at a later date.
