Margaret Ann Rebstock, 86, of Carmi passed away on Thursday, October 23, 2025 at Carmi Manor. She was born on December 31, 1938 in Carmi, IL the daughter of Joseph and Thelma (Corwin) Ward. She was raised in the Church of God in Carmi. She was also a part of the American Legion Auxiliary. Margaret loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She enjoyed playing shuffleboard in her free time.
Margaret is survived by her daughter, Debbie (Doug Warren) Dunbar of Carmi, IL; special niece who she raised, Kim Gunter of Carmi, IL; sister, Donna James of Carmi, IL; grandchildren, Sascha Dunbar, Tanner (Morganne) Roser, Mitchell (Tayler) Gunter, Cameron Gunter, and Macey (Patrick) McKenzie; great-grandchildren, Nash, Willow, Hunter, Rhett, Ridge, Cain, and Violet; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and five siblings, Ora Phyllis McGhee, Sandy Zenner, Betty Blazier, Bill Ward, and Joe “Jr” Ward.
Funeral services for Margaret Ann Rebstock, 86, of Carmi will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Monday, October 27, 2025 at Campbell Funeral Home in Carmi. Burial will follow in Melrose Cemetery in Carmi. Visitation will be held on Monday, October 27, 2025 at Campbell Funeral Home in Carmi from 1:00 p.m. until time of service at 3:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Margaret’s memory to Pets at Risk or Coins for Cancer and will be accepted at the funeral home or by mail to 609 W. Main St., Carmi, IL 62821.
