Eleanor R Weiland

Eleanor R. Weiland (nee Teniak), 87, of Avon, died Wednesday, October 18, 2023 at the Keystone Pointe Health and Rehabilitation in LaGrange, Ohio.
She was born January 30, 1936 in Lakewood, and had lived in Avon many years, moving from Westlake. She was employed as a waitress at Big Boy Restaurant in North Olmsted for several years and also worked in the cafeteria at Kelly's Deli in Westlake. Later she was employed in the dietary department at O'Neill Health Care in North Ridgeville retiring in 2003. She enjoyed spending time with her family.
She is survived by her sons, Thomas (Debbie, deceased) Weiland, Jeff Weiland, Jim (Pearl) Weiland; three grandchildren, Christine, Amanda, and Matt; and two sisters, Bernice May and Martha Herb.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert W. Weiland; one son, Richard Weiland; one brother, Bobby Teniak; four sisters, Barb, Jean, Beatrice, and Betty; and her parents, Rudolph and Elizabeth (nee Sholtis) Teniak. Family will receive friends Tuesday, October 24, 2023 from 9 a.m. until time of parlor service at 11 a.m. at the Misencik Funeral Home, 36363 Detroit Rd., Avon, Ohio. Interment will follow in Resthaven Memory Gardens, Avon, Ohio.
