Wanda Bolin Obituary
Memorial Service: 10 a.m. Monday at Woodland West Church of Christ.
Memorials: Gifts in her honor may be given to her church, Woodland West Church of Christ.
Wanda Bolin was a graduate of Sunset High School in Dallas. She married Sealy Bolin in November of 1940. They celebrated 61 years of married life together.
Survivors: Husband Sealy Bolin Jr. of Arlington; daughter, Nita McFarlin of Arlington; brothers, Mike Sires of Atlanta, Ga., Eldon Mike Applegate of Canoga Park, Calif. and Lloyd Applegate of California; numerous nieces, nephews, friends and church family members.

Having known Nita McFarlin (the Bolin's dtr) for over 22 years, we only began to know Sealy and Wanda when Nita fell and broke her arm 3 or 4 years ago. Wanda and Sealy began to attend worship assemblies with Nita and we were witnesses to their 'new birth' into Christ Jesus. What a blessing to see mature people become 'babes in Christ', and to grow in Christ to have nurturing characteristics, for others to emulate.
Praise God for his love in allowing Wanda to be a part of our lives. We cannot bring her back to her husband and daughter - but as King David of old said when his son died, 'We can go to her', when God calls us home.
