Aaron W. Weaver, age 74, of Barnett, Missouri, passed away Monday, December 6, 2021 at SSM Health St. Mary's Hospital, Jefferson City, Missouri. He was born January 11, 1947 in Ephrata, Pennsylvania, a son of Aaron S. and Mabel G. (Wanner) Weaver.
On May 13, 1967, in New Holland, Pennsylvania, he was united in marriage to Elizabeth S. Nolt. To this union eleven children were born. Together, they shared the past fifty-four years of marriage.
Aaron was raised in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania and worked as a farmer. They moved to Missouri in 1972 where he continued as a farmer and worked in construction. In 1998, he opened Weaver's Tire Service. He sold the business in 2005 to his sons and returned to Pennsylvania to help care for his father. Aaron and Elizabeth then returned to Missouri in 2018. He was a member of Ridge View Mennonite Church in Barnett.
Survivors include his wife, Elizabeth Weaver of the home; eleven children, Barry Weaver and wife Doris of Warrensburg, Missouri, Sharon Zimmerman and husband Richard of Quarryville, Pennsylvania, Darlene Nolt and husband Philip of Manheim, Pennsylvania, Curvin Weaver and wife Dawn of Versailles, Missouri, Jason Weaver and wife Elsie of Fort Worth, Texas, Luanne Nolt and husband Chester of Warrensburg, Missouri, Wilma Carpenter and husband Matthew of Vanderhoof, British Columbia, Aaron Weaver and wife Karen of Barnett, Missouri, David Weaver and wife Bethany of Barnett, Missouri, Elizabeth Bair and husband Nelson of Kingston, Idaho and Mabel Carpenter and husband Stephen of Burns Lake, British Columbia; sixty-five grandchildren; twenty-one great-grandchildren; six brothers, Ivan Weaver, Raymond Weaver and wife Janet, Elvin Weaver and wife Linda, Melvin Weaver and wife Erma, Ervin Weaver and wife Lois and Paul Weaver and wife Reba; four sisters, Irene Groff and husband Kenneth, Sadie Sensenig, Mabel Martin and husband Leon and Linda Brubaker; two brothers-in-law, Leroy Nolt and Paul Shirk; a sister-in-law, Esther Weaver and a host of other relatives.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Lloyd Weaver; two sisters, Lydia Shirk and Laura Nolt, a brother-in-law, Earl Sensenig and a sister-in-law, Anna Weaver.
Services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, December 13, 2021 at Versailles Mennonite Church. Burial will follow in Beulah Cemetery, Versailles. Visitation will be from 1:00-4:00 p.m. and 6:00-8:00 p.m. Sunday at the church.
Arrangements are under the direction and care of the Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home in Versailles.
