Alan Kent Juncker, 69, of Mt. Vernon, Indiana passed away on Wednesday, October 23, 2024 at Deaconess Hospital Gateway Campus.
Alan was born on July 25, 1955 to the late Arnold and Geneva (Pfeiffer) Juncker. He enjoyed farming and along with his brother Tom, owned and operated Juncker Farms and Little Creek Ostrich Farm for many years. Alan also owned and operated Trade Wind Commodities. He traveled across the world for business and pleasure; was very generous with his time and talents. He volunteered at a local community garden and also gave his time delivering meals to others. Alan had a strong work ethic. He held many jobs and made many friends throughout his lifetime. He was also a Parrothead and avid boater.
Surviving Alan are two daughters, Nicolette (Caleb) Leach and Skylar Juncker; a brother, Thomas "Tommy" Juncker; great friend, Debbie Kohut; nieces, Lara Suenram and Jennifer Bonner and a nephew, Arnie Juncker.
In addition to his parents, Alan was preceded in death by his sister, Elaine McGilvray and by a sister-in-law, Lisa Juncker.
Funeral services for Alan will be held at 6:00 PM on Monday, October 28, 2024 at Pierre Funeral Home.
Friends may visit with the family from 3:00 PM until service time on Monday at Pierre Funeral Home, 2601 W. Franklin Street.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Evansville Rescue Mission, 500 E. Walnut Street, Evansville, IN 47713.
