Alan C. Rotz, 60, passed away in his home on Thursday, November 2, 2022, of natural causes.
Born on October 21, 1962 in Chambersburg, he was a son of the late Marlin J. and Janet M. (Robinson) Rotz.
Alan was a 1982 graduate of Chambersburg Area Senior High School and he was most recently employed with JLG Manufacturing in Shippensburg. In his spare time he enjoyed working on old trucks and riding motorcycles. He is survived by two brothers, Marlin E. "Gene" Rotz of Shippensburg and Edward J. (Susan) Rotz of Chambersburg; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death earlier this year by his mother, Janet, and sister-in-law, Ann.
Graveside services will be held at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, November 8, in Parklawns Memorial Gardens. A memorial reception will follow at the Liquid Art Beer Stube 140 S. Third St. Chambersburg. Memorial contributions may be made to the Franklin County 4-H Therapeutic Riding Center. Please make checks payable to Penn State University and write FCTRC in the memo line. Donations can then be mailed to the Franklin County 4-H Therapeutic Riding Center, 181 Franklin Farm Ln, Chambersburg, PA 17202.
