Adolfo "Leo" Zamora, aged 53, peacefully departed from this world on the evening of
Tuesday, April 16, 2024. Surrounded by the loving embrace of family and friends, Leo
transitioned to the arms of the Lord, leaving behind cherished memories and an
enduring legacy.
Born in Nicaragua, February 26, 1971, and moved to Houston with his mother in the mid
1980s, Leo was a proud graduate of Memorial High School, Class of 1990. His spiritual
journey led him to find solace and community at Second Baptist Church, where he
found strength in faith and fellowship. Leo earned a degree in International Business at
the University of Houston.
Throughout his career, Leo demonstrated exceptional care and professionalism in the
world of sales. He graced the halls of luxury retailers such as Omega, Ben Bridge
Jewelry, Tag Heuer, and Houston Wine Merchants, where his expertise and affable
nature endeared him to colleagues and customers alike.
Leo's vibrant spirit illuminated every room he entered. Known for his warmth, kindness,
and unwavering optimism, he touched the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing
him. Whether sharing stories with loved ones or offering words of encouragement to
those in need, Leo's presence brought comfort and joy to countless hearts.
In the tapestry of Leo's life, family was the cornerstone of his existence. He is preceded
in death by his beloved father, Uriel Zamora, whose legacy of love and guidance will
forever be cherished, and son Marco Zamora. Leo is survived by his devoted wife of 16
years, Yacira Zamora, his loving mother Gloria Rojas, his adoring children Franco
Zamora and Natalia Zamora, his dear brothers and sisters, and a host of step-siblings,
nephews, nieces, and cousins.
In the wake of Leo's passing, his memory will continue to inspire and uplift those who
were blessed to know him. His laughter, his wisdom, and his boundless love will remain
etched in the hearts of all who mourn his loss.
A celebration of Leo's life will be held at Second Baptist Church, where friends and
family will gather to honor his legacy and bid him farewell. Memorial services will be at
Second Baptist Church, 6400 Woodway, Houston, TX 77056, in the Chapel on Saturday
April 20, 2024 10:00 am. The family will receive visitors at Claire Brothers Funeral
Home, 7901 Hilcroft, on Saturday, April 20 th at 1:00pm. Though Leo may have left this
earthly realm, his spirit will live on in the lives he touched and the memories he created.
Let us remember Leo Adolfo Zamora with smiles of gratitude for the light he brought into
our lives. May he rest in eternal peace, knowing he was deeply loved and will be
