Allison J. Brown, 46, passed peacefully, leaving behind a legacy of compassion, conviction, and care.
She is survived by her loving parents, Chris and Aimee Brown; her siblings, Stephanie Brown, Sharon Brown (and her husband Dave Hanft), Stephen Brown (and his wife Liz Brown); and her cherished nephews and niece, Henry (her beloved godson), Everett, Warren, Stella, and William.
Allison was a natural athlete and excelled in multiple high school sports, earning a full-ride basketball scholarship to John Carroll University, where she shined both on the court and in the classroom. Her competitive spirit and love for the game never left her, and she remained a loyal Ohio sports fan throughout her life. After graduating with distinction from John Carroll, she went on to attend medical school in Toledo, Ohio, later specializing in dermatology and completing a dermatopathology fellowship at the University of Cincinnati.
As a board-certified dermatologist, Allison devoted her career to her patients. She was a tireless advocate for care over profit, admired for her fierce integrity, brilliant mind, and unwavering dedication to doing what was right. Her patients, colleagues, and loved ones will remember her not only for her professional excellence but also for her warmth and humanity.
Allison's greatest joy, however, was found in her family. She embraced her role as "Auntie" with full force, whether it was swinging the kids around, epic lightsaber battles, filling every room with laughter, or showering them with amazing (and sometimes over-the-top) gifts. To her niece and nephews, she was not only an aunt but also a source of endless fun, encouragement, and love. Her presence enriched every gathering with energy, loyalty, and heart. She will be profoundly missed and forever remembered by all who were fortunate enough to know her.
A memorial service will be held at Carlson Funeral Home, Medina, on Saturday, September 20, 2025, at 11:00 a.m., with burial to follow at St. Francis Cemetery.
Floral Arrangements may be sent to Carlson Funeral Home, Medina, at 3477 Medina Road, Medina, Ohio, 44256. Also, donations would be graciously accepted at https://www.medinaboosters.org/ for the girls' basketball team, in Allison's name, to honor her life and legacy.
