Amy Dawn (Peckham) Levings, passed away on Monday, June 2nd, 2025, in Douglass Kansas, at the age of 46. Born on July 6, 1978, in Enid, Oklahoma, Amy was the beloved daughter of Don and Lois (Payton) Peckham.
Amy graduated from Enid High School in May 1997 and went on to study Nursing at Northwestern Oklahoma State University in Alva, Oklahoma. It was in Alva where she met the love of her life, Chad Levings, while working together at Wal-Mart. The two were married on June 6, 2003, and later made their home in Augusta, Kansas, in 2005.
Together, Amy and Chad built a life full of love, laughter, and community. They are well known in Augusta as the owners and operators of the local Sonic Drive-In, where Amy's bright smile and warm spirit touched the lives of countless customers, employees, and friends.
Amy was a devoted wife and a proud, supportive mother to her two children, Hunter Michael, born June 3, 2004, and Maddison Dawn, born June 23, 2006. Her family was her greatest joy, and she poured her heart into every moment spent with them.
Amy is survived by her husband, Chad of Augusta, KS, their children, Hunter & Maddison & her bonus children Emily & Dre`; her brother, Jeff Peckham and his wife Quillian of Yukon OK, their children Maurcel, Chelsea, Zorion, Malachi & Zoey; Mother-in-law Carlita Levings; Sister-in-law Dana and her children Shelby (Brady) and Coltan (Nicole); Brother-in-law Cory; Aunt Debbie & Uncle Rick Bonebrake of Enid OK, their girls Victoria, Maci, & Sarah; Uncle Jim & Aunt Carol Payton of Port Orange FL, their son, Adam; Aunt Angie & Uncle Leon; Great-grandma LaUna & late Great-grandpa Ivan; and bonus grandpa, Larry; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and a wide circle of friends and extended family who will miss her dearly.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Don and Lois Peckham, and all of her grandparents.
Visitation with the family will take place on Friday, June 6th, 2025 from 6:00 PM. until 8:00 PM at Headley Funeral Chapel in Augusta. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 7th, 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Augusta First United Methodist Church with burial to follow at Leon Cemetery.
Amy's legacy of kindness, strength, and love will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
