Angela Lee Gold went home to be with the Lord July 29, 2025 after having succumbed to colorectal cancer. Angie was known for her outgoing ways, her love of people and willingness to help in any way she could.
She graduated from Wichita State University in May 1993 with a BA degree in Psychology and later she earned her MA degree at Webster University in 2012 specializing in family counseling.
Angie maintained an active role in churches that she attended and supplied the pulpit when pastors were unable to be there. She was a Program and Education Director at Kechi Methodist Church, Kechi, Kansas following her graduation.
She enjoyed reading about a variety of subjects and learning new things about her world and her faith. Angie had a contagious laugh and loved laughing with family and friends. She enjoyed good health until October of last year when diagnosed with cancer.
She will always be remembered for her love of life and people. Angie truly never met a stranger. Her twelve-year-old daughter, Victoria was deeply loved and brought her great joy.
Angie is survived by her daughter Victoria; her parents, Harold and Vivian Gold of Ozark; sisters, Debbie Gold of Ozark, and Sara Liles (Steve) of Aurora; nephew Andrew Edwards (Sydney) of Ozark, niece Hannah Jackson (Joe) of Pierce City; uncles Russell Turney (Patsy) of Billings, Douglas Turney (Janet) of Mansfield, Jim Gold (Elaine) of Billings; and many cousins.
A family directed Memorial Service will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday, August 14, 2025 at Billings Assembly of God Church, Billings, Missouri. Visitation will be held before the service starting at 10:30 a.m.
