Angela Nichole Joseph

Angela Nichole Joseph, a spirited and passionate soul, graced this world with her presence on September 13, 1975, in Lansing, Michigan. Her journey on earth came to a peaceful close on November 18, 2025, in the comfort of her Haslett home, surrounded by the love of her family.
She was born to Robin Cruickshank and the late Nathan Joseph who fostered her lifelong values of family and her spiritual journey. Her sister, Emily (Zebadiah) McDaniels, shared a deep bond with Angela that was further enriched by the joy of cherished nieces Mya (Austin Guzman) Fedewa and Ayla Holm, and her nephew Hendrix McDaniels. The family circle extended to her stepfather Jim Cruickshank, Aunt Debbie (Rick) Spencer and cousin Justin Ellison. Her beloved dog, Ruger, was a constant companion, embodying the special connection she had with her canine friends, a bond mirrored with her late dog, Woodward, she also leaves behind many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Angela was preceded in death by her father Nathan Joseph, grandma Nina, grandpapa Don, Uncle Scott, Aunt Kim, and Aunt Leslie.
Angela attended Grand Ledge High School and received her certification from the Lansing Community College as a Massage Therapist. Her career spanned over two decades, during which she became a Licensed Massage Therapist and Integrative Intuitive Lifestyle Coach. Her clients were not just patrons but a part of her life's tapestry.
Angela's life was rich with interests and activities that reflected her love for learning and growth. An avid reader, she found solace in books puzzles and her culinary skills were an expression of her creativity and love for nourishing her family and friends. Gardening was both a hobby and a form of meditation for Angela.
Physical wellness was a cornerstone of Angela's existence. She found joy in walking with Ruger and Woodward around Lake Lansing, where nature's beauty was a source of inspiration and strength. The sight of eagles soaring above was a reminder of the freedom and resilience that she so admired. Angela's commitment to exercise and fitness was unwavering, as was her love for her family, whom she supported unconditionally.
Her home on Lake Lansing was not just a place of residence but a community she cherished. Angela's neighbors were more than just acquaintances; they were an extension of her family. Her soul sisters, Heather Williams and Kara Kerrigan, along with her second family-Elaine Du Plessis, Sara Levine, and Amelia Du Plessis Levine-were integral to her life's journey.
Angela's sense of style was uniquely her own, especially her beloved boot collection. Her commitment to self-healing, prayer, and positive energy was a beacon for many, and her private nature allowed her space to reflect and grow. Her presence will be profoundly missed by her numerous friends, loved family members, and everyone whose life she touched.
The family will receive visitors on Sunday, November 23, 2025, from 1:00 – 3:00 and 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. at Mills Funeral Home, Peters & Murray Chapel, 301 E. Jefferson St., Grand Ledge, MI.
A Catholic Funeral Mass will take place on Monday, November 24, 2025, 11:00 a.m. at St. Michael Catholic Church, 345 Edwards St., Grand Ledge with a visitation one hour prior to the service.
