Anna Elizabeth Dyer, 84, of Decatur, IN, passed away Wednesday evening, May 7, 2025, at Ossian Health and Rehabilitation Center. She was born on March 24, 1941, in Heimann, KY, the daughter of the late Edgar Ben and Cora Alice (Bertrand) Dyer.
She was a graduate of Decatur High School and attended the Bridge Community Church. Anna worked for G.E. in Decatur and then for Midwest Credit Union and Summit Bank in Ft. Wayne. She was also a real-estate agent.
Anna is survived by her Long Time Companion, Denver McLemore; 4 children, Thomas E. Rambo, Michael A. (Cynthia) Rambo, Susan C. (Hank) Rambo-Johnson and Timothy D. Rambo all of Decatur, IN; 5 siblings, Mary (Lorren) Caffee of Decatur, IN, Joy (Butch) Begley of Celina, OH, Sandy (Sam) Blythe of Decatur, IN, Ed (Kate) Dyer of Decatur, IN, and Donna Dyer Bar-Navon of Ocean Springs, MS; 8 grandchildren, Michael Rambo, Kaylie Rambo, Christopher Johnson, Keith Johnson, Nathan Rambo, Tiffany Wilson, Dana Rambo and Andrea Rambo; 7 great grandchildren, Deryk Johnson, Aubree Johnson, Lilah Baumgartner, Nevaeh Rambo, Isaac Warner, Asher Bellew, and Alice Rambo-Kuhn.
She was preceded in death by her brother, James A. Dyer.
A Funeral Service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 14, 2025, at Haggard – Hirschy & Zelt Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. prior to the funeral.
Burial will follow in the Decatur Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to P.A.W.S. of Adams County.
