Anna Jean Runyon age 93 of Logan, WV went to her heavenly home on March 19,2025 at Pikeville Medical Center surrounded by her children. Anna was of the Catholic faith and attended church at Cornerstone Family Fellowship at Whitman.
Anna was proceeded in death by her husband Fred Runyon, parents Jesse and Madgie (Estep) Roberts, Granddaughter Crystal Burton, one brother Frank “Buddy” Roberts, two sisters Nellie Ferrell and Kathleen Conley and her beloved fur baby Suzie.
Anna and Fred drove cross country for J.B. Hunt and lived in El Paso, Texas. Fayetteville North Carolina and her favorite home in Hylton Head, South Carolina. She loved the beach and hearing about her grandkids and great grandkids.
She is survived one sister Opal Enoch of Jacksonville, Florida and her daughters Cindy (John) Armstrong of Holden, Debbie Pridemore of Logan, sons Darrell, Alfred ”Bucky” (Melinda), Jeffery Pridemore of Logan, Donald (Glenda) Runyon of Indianola, Iowa and David Runyon of Georgia. Grandchildren. A.D.(Krista) Hale of Hurricane, WV., Cassie (Junior) Johnson of Peach Creek, WV., Beth Pridemore of Fairmont, Erin Pridemore of Pittsburg, Pa., Salena Marshell Fields Robinette, Molly Dawnyelle Runyon Balentine, and step-grandson Scott Armstrong of Waverly, Ohio.
Great grandchildren, Logan Runyon, Jody Ann Burton, Avery Hale, Berkley Johson, Jett Johnson, Sailor Johnson, Roman Wilson, step grandchildren, Graci (Phil) Hart, Maggi , Will Armstrong of Waverly Ohio, Brayden Robinette, and Sydni Paige Balentine. Two great-great grandchildren Palmer and Beckett Hart of Waverly, Ohio.
A special niece Anita Ellis of Woodstock, Georgia and her fur babies Cagney and Buddy, and a host of nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank the staff of Pikeville Medical Center 9th floor for the wonderful care of our mother.
Memorial service will be held Saturday. March 29, 2025 at Cornerstone Family Fellowship at Whitman. Visitation will be held from 11:00 am. to 1:00 pm. Paster Richard Belcher will be officiating.
