Ansley Marie-Lynn Hendrickson-Long, 28, of Magnetic Springs, passed away unexpectedly, Friday afternoon, May 3, 2024, at her home.
Ansley was born July 27, 1995, in Marysville to Gary Lee Hendrickson and Gina E. Blevins. A graduate of Marysville High School, she was recently employed at Midwest Express. Spiritual and soulful, she loved all music, and her favorite band was Blue October. She would spend her free time being outdoors enjoying nature, and more recently developed a love for video games. Ansley was down to earth, empathetic, and very strong, and she had a knack for forgiveness. She also had a great sense of humor, and always wanted to help other people be their best selves.
Ansley found her soulmate in Derick E. Long, and they married on October 11, 2021, after several strong and dedicated years of friendship. She is survived by her husband, Derick; her daughters Auriel, Alison & Alayah; her step-son Karson Long; her mom Gina; her grandma Myra Wilson, who raised her; siblings Haley Hendrickson, Makenzie Hendrickson, Caleb Blevins, Brook Seitz, Daniel Clapper, Joseph Clapper, Jacob Savage, McKenzie Clapper, Hannah Blair & Henry Blair; mother-in-law Terri (Ike) Copley; father-in-law John (Monica) Long; brothers-in-law John & Justin Long; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family members.
She was preceded in death by her father, Gary, in 2003.
A gathering of family and friends to honor Ansley's life will be held 4-8 pm Saturday, May 11th, 2024, at McCarthy Park, 301 N. Cherry St., Marysville.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Ingram Funeral Home, to help with the unexpected expenses.

I worked with Ansley for 2 year at McDonald´s, we started around the same time and she quickly quickly became one of my favorites, if I needed to talk I would go to her, whenever something exciting happened we would tell each other, I have so many amazing memories with Ansley and I already miss her so much. She was so loved by everyone at McDonald´s she made everyone´s lives that much better.

I only knew Ansley for a brief time, but within the time that I spent with her, I can honestly say she had a beautiful soul, a unique personality, and overall was a really good person. She had a great sense of humor, was a fantastic conversationalist, and had an uplifting magical energy to her. She helped me through a difficult time, I will forever thank her for that, and I feel very fortunate to have met her. I remember having many in depth spiritual talks with Ansley and feel so blessed to have experienced that friendship. She will be missed and I have nothing but positive things to say about her. She was truly a special person.

We worked together at McDonalds. Her and I quickly connected, as we were both quiet and kind of shy at work
