Tony was raised in Brighton, MA. Upon graduation from Brighton High School, Tony enlisted in the US Army in 1949, was a Private First Class with the 26th Infantry Regiment, during his tenure he served overseas in Germany and was honorably discharged in 1952. Tony graduated from Suffolk University in 1958 with a Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Management.

Tony and Janet raised their daughters in Marlborough, MA, Santa Barbara, CA and Andover, MA. He and Janet moved to Portsmouth, RI, where they enjoyed living close to the water. In 2002, they moved to Mashpee, MA, where he lived for the rest of his life. In Mashpee, Tony was involved with the Mashpee Men's Club, and the Carving Group at the Mashpee Library. He and Janet were devoted members of Christ the King Parish.

Tony began his 30-year professional career at the Raytheon Technologies Corporation in 1958 in the Equipment Division in Waltham, MA, transferred to the Electromagnetic Systems Division in Goleta, CA, spent 10 years at the Missiles Systems Division in Andover, MA, finishing the remainder of his career until retirement in 1994 at the Seapower Capability Division in Portsmouth, RI. Tony was a Subcontract and Procurement Manager for most of his career span at Raytheon. The highlights of Tony's career at Raytheon were working with NASA on the Apollo Program Missions in the 1970s and on the Patriot Missile Defense System while in Andover.

Tony worked hard throughout his life to support his family and friends, always willing to lend a hand to help others and volunteering for various organizations over his life particularly the Mashpee Food Pantry. Spending time with his family, whom he considered his greatest accomplishment, gave him the most joy, especially creating and enjoying holiday traditions over many years.

Tony enjoyed fishing, especially at Grand Lakes Stream, Maine where he shared the experience with his grandsons. He also enjoyed biking and playing tennis with his wife, Janet. After his retirement, Tony played golf on a regular basis and later in his life took up the hobby of wood carving, gifting many beautiful birds to his family. Tony particularly enjoyed playing card games, was an avid reader and enjoyed cooking.

Tony's family is grateful to Dr. Dan Arnold and the staff at Veritas Direct Care for the medical care they provided Tony especially over the last three years as he suffered with leukemia, as well as Dr. Luke Liu's team at the Mugar Cancer Center at Cape Cod Hospital.
