Arnold "Bud" W. Starr Sr., age 87, a resident of Pepperell, passed away peacefully at Lowell General Hospital on Tuesday, April 8, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of Michele B. Balboni with whom he enjoyed 35 years of marriage.
He was born in Boston on December 5, 1937, and was the son of the late Albert Alfred Starr, Gina (Amaral) Cima and stepfather John Cima.
Bud spent most of his life in the New England area working the trades and owning his own carpentry business for some time. He was kind and generous, always lending a helping hand when needed. A longtime fan of the Patriots, he always enjoyed a good sports game, loved attending family events, and spent many years riding his motorcycle. He served briefly in the Army in his youth. Adored by his wife's family, he made an impact on everyone he met. A loving father and grandfather, he will be greatly missed by everyone. We will always remember him for his funny and gentle spirit.
"Be content with the necessary things in life" -Bud
In addition to his loving wife, Michele, he is survived by his children, Arnold Starr Jr., Melanie Marshall, Jaime Florence, Justin Starr, and Sara Starr. His grandchildren Arnold Starr III, Ericka Starr-Celley, Elijah Florence, Kayden Grierson, Arielle Grierson, and Nathan Starr, and his great grandchildren Cooper Celley, Dahlia Celley, Arnold Starr IV, and Amelia Starr. Also survived by many nieces and nephews and close in laws.
He was predeceased by his daughter, Amber Starr and his 4 brothers.
His funeral service and interment will be private.

Hey baby, it's me petness. I love and miss you so much. You were the most laid back person I've ever met. We had 37 years together. I don't know what to do now that you're gone. I still think you're coming home. I will love you forever, my boy
