Arthur was born in Lowell on April 20, 1947, and was the son of the late Joseph A. White, Jr. and Yvonne (Polities) White. He was raised and educated in Dracut, graduating from Dracut High School in June of 1965. He subsequently entered military service, joining the United States Marine Corps on July 14, 1966 and was honorably discharged on June 30, 1968, after having served a tour in Vietnam. Arthur was employed by Malden Mills for a number of years.
Arthur's interests included reading history books and watching history movies. He also had an interest in cooking.
Arthur is survived by his former wife Judith Blaisdell, their son Chad White of Dracut, their daughter Jennifer and her children Kayla, Noah and Emma.
He is also survived by his brothers Richard R. White of Nashua, NH, and Michael F. White of Merrimack, NH, as well as many loving nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 24, 2025, at 11 am in the chapel at Massachusetts Veterans Memorial Cemetery, WINCHENDON. Kindly meet at the cemetery.
Memorial donations may be made in Arthur's memory to a Veterans organization of your choice.
