Artur Alves Obituary
Artur Seabra Alves, 56, of Toms River, passed away on June 26, 2024. Born in Newark, he was raised in Clark, NJ, and graduated from Roselle Catholic High School. Artur was a graduate of the University of Maryland, where he received his Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Engineer. He worked for VA Construction Co. of Newark. Artur enjoyed his travels to Portugal and to Costa Rica, and spending time with family and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Virgilio Alves. Artur is survived by his mother Conceicao "Connie" Castanhas Alves, his sister: Annabelle Sollacio and her husband David, and his nephew Daniel. Artur's visitation will be on Sunday June 30, 2024 from 2:00-5:00PM at Gray Memorial Funeral Home, 12 Springfield Ave. Cranford, during which a prayer service will be held at 3:00PM.
