Ashleigh Elizabeth Jacot, a resident of Vassar MI, passed away December 28th, 2023 at the age of 35. She was born August 24th, 1988 at Oakwood Hospital in Dearborn, MI to Glenda Jacot and Ronald Waterman Jr.. Ashleigh was a 2008 graduate of Vassar High School and attended Hope Community Church of Frankenmuth.
She loved taking care of the family pets, especially her dog Bella. Ashleigh was a collector of dolls and dollhouses. Her greatest accomplishment was overcoming a congenital heart defect that claims the lives of most children in less than 24 hours of birth. She lived 35 years longer than her doctors expected. She was truly a miracle.
Ashleigh was preceded in death by her older brother Ronald “Ronnie” Waterman III and her grandfathers Donald Jacot and Ronald Waterman Sr. She is survived by her siblings Bethanie (Andre) Rodriguez , Elishia (Sam) Licavoli, Wade (Amanda) Waterman, Bryan (Cassandra) Waterman, Sarah (Michael) O’Brien, her parents Glenda Jacot and Ronald Waterman, and her grandparents Carol Jacot, Diane Jacot, and Judy Waterman.
The family will be receiving visitors Thursday, January 4th from 3:00 pm until 7:00 pm and Friday, January 5th from 10 AM until 11 AM at Hanlin Funeral Home in Vassar, MI. A celebration of life service will be held at 11:00 am January 5th at Hanlin Funeral Home in Vassar, MI with an interment service following at Millington Cemetery in Millington MI.
Donations in Ashleigh's memory may be directed to the Turner Syndrome Society of the United States.
