Ashley attended Carroll High School and was raised a baptist Christian. She always had a beautiful smile on her face and she loved her kids, music, and dancing.
She was preceded in death by her father, Walter Gilbert; parternal grandparents, Johnny and Savannah Gilbert; maternal grandmother, JoAnn Looney; two brothers, Dexter Cooper and Jacoby Looney; and adoptive mother, Vera Brown (Marm).
She leaves to cherish her memories: her two sons, Nicholas Looney and Stephen Williams, both of Monroe, Louisiana; mother, Kathy Looney of Monroe, Louisiana; three brothers, Denerius Looney, Walter Looney, and SirDerrious Dunn, all of Monroe, Louisiana; three sisters, Carlissia Looney and Reba Hamilton, both of Monroe, Louisiana, and Keisha Hamilton of Baton Rouge, Louisiana; and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
