I did not know Athenia but was privileged to go to her lovely Celebration of Life service. Listening to all the people who loved her speak, I feel that I did get to know her. What a wonderful person and legacy she left. All the people who attended is just proof that she definitely touched the lives of so many. We should all take her cue....live big, love big and laugh big.
My prayer is for peace for all of her family and friends.

I´m so deeply sorry for your loss. Though words can only reach so far in moments like these, I hope they bring even a small measure of comfort knowing how many hearts are with you.
I´ll always remember how Athena seemed to glow with this effortless cool-someone we all admired growing up. Whether it was her confidence, her energy, or the way she made space for fun and joy, she left a mark that stuck with everyone. She had that rare kind of presence that made everything feel a little more exciting, a little more alive.
May her memory continue to shine through the love she gave and the lives she touched. Wishing your family peace, strength, and healing in the days ahead.

Athenia, you brightened every room you entered. You have inspired me and countless others with your grace and positivity in the face of adversity. I will miss you so much, but I will think of the good times we shared and still hear your laughed in my mind, and I'll smile. Thank you for being my friend.

I sat next to Athenia at work. I would listen to her talk with clients and our other colleagues. She had such a warmth about her and even though she sounded like a California Valley Girl, she was so smart. I actively made efforts to become her friend. I knew I wanted to get to know her and have a real bond with her....how could you not!? About 8 years ago I moved to Oregon. Last summer I came to Georgia to see her. Even with her struggle, she was still as sweet as sugar. I will be forever grateful that I was able to see her. Just one last girls lunch, one last hug and one last goodbye. I really loved her. Athenia was one of a kind.
Thank you for being my friend, Athenia. I will always think of you with a smile.

Greetings Athenia's Family, I did not have the opportunity to meet Athenia but I have had the chance to hear sweet and loving things about her through her Aunt Maryam. She shared with me and others what a loving, kind and sweet person she was. I know you will miss her deeply. Please know that my prayers are with her family and friends. God bless you and keep you always
