Barbara was born in Evansville, Indiana on March 28, 1948 to the late RB and Nadine (McIntosh) Coleman. She printed photos for Smith & Butterfield for 28 years. Barbara enjoyed quilting, crocheting, and needlepoint. She loved bird watching and feeding the birds. Barbara was a loving friend and neighbor and will be dearly missed.
Barbara is survived by her extended family, Marie Eaton (Kenny) and James Elliott (Melissa); brothers, William Coleman of Evansville, IN and Kevin Coleman of Ft. Branch, IN; and several nieces.
Barbara was preceded in death by her husband in 1991, Gary Driskell; her parents; and sister, Florance Anne Coleman.
A celebration of Barbara's life will be held at 10:00 am on Friday, September 2, 2022 at Browning Funeral Home, 738 Diamond Ave., Evansville, IN 47711, with Pastor Steve Clayton officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery.
Friends may visit from 9:00 am until service time on Friday at Browning Funeral Home.
Memorial contributions may be made to It Takes A Village, 1417 N. Stockwell Rd., Evansville, IN 47715.
