Barbara Ann "Barb" Cross

Barbara Ann "Barb" Cross, age 82, of Orrville, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, March 30, 2024, at her home in Orrville surrounded by her family, following a period of declining health.
Barb was born on August 8, 1941, in Orrville, Ohio, to the late Harry and Hazel (Campbell) Bell and graduated from Orrville High School in 1960. She married the love of her life Donald Cross on May 23, 1970, at Orrville Christian Church.
She worked in the Accounts Payable Department for The J.M. Smucker Company in Orrville for 43 years, retiring in 2003.
Barb enjoyed playing word games, doing word searches and attending her women's group. She was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church and Orrville Christian Church. Barb was a prayer warrior and a woman who was strong and steadfast in her faith. Right along with her strong faith was her love and devotion to her family and her friends. She cherished them more than anything.
In addition to her husband, Donald, surviving are two daughters, Carol Ann (Nick) Cross Zuercher of Orrville, and Brenda Ann (Chad) Baughman of Holly Ridge, NC; two grandchildren, Bryce Baughman of Las Vegas, NV, and Evan Baughman of Holly Ridge, NC; brother-in-law, Paul (Janice) Cross of South Carolina; nephew, Michael (Tori) Kesling of Barberton; beloved dogs Freddy and Fritz; and a loving cat, Isabella.
She was preceded in death by both parents; brother, Raymond Bell; and sister-in-law, Wanda Bell.
Friends may call on April 11, 2024, at Auble Funeral Home, 512 East Oak Street, Orrville, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm or on April 12, 2024, at the funeral home, from 10:00 am to 10:45 am.
Services will be held at 11:00 am on April 12, 2024, at the funeral home, with Pastors Tom Ledford and Nick Zuercher officiating. Burial will take place at the Crown Hill Cemetery in Orrville. Following the burial there will be a light luncheon at Orrville Christian Church that all are welcome to attend.
