Barbara Ruth Thibaut Faherty born on December 13, 1939, left us on March 18, 2025 for pearly gates and eternal joy. Barbara/MOM!/Ma started life on a farm, moved to German Village with the growing family and grew up with eleven siblings. She helped create the eclectic music scene in her children’s lives with her offerings of Barry Manilow, Elvis Presley, John Denver, CCR, Petula Clark, and a host of others. Her skill at interior decorating was unsurpassed. She worked at ‘the bar’, Grange Insurance, and retired from the Franklin County Auditor. The thing she most loved to do was cook for her children. Her homemade pancakes created life long memories. Her chocolate chip cookies are legendary. By the time she had her 5th child, she had 5 children under the age of 5. Not being finished she went ahead to have #6, #7 and #8.
