Bethany Michelle Smith

Miss Bethany Michelle Smith, age 26, of Mt. Airy, passed away on Saturday, August 16, 2025 at her home. She was born on August 31, 1998 in Surry County to Michael and Michelle Smith. She was a very strong lady and was a wonderful mother. Left to cherish her memory are her children, Brayleigh Smith and Michael Coe; parents, Michael and Michelle Smith; sister, Brittany Smith; maternal grandmother, Gayle Norman; aunts, Lisa France and family, Allison Johnson, and Teresa Smith; niece, Cabree Smith; special friends, Natalie, Emily, Lexi, and Kayla as well as numerous cousins and friends. Miss Smith was preceded in death by her brother, Brandon Smith; maternal grandfather, Billy Norman; paternal grandparents, Doug and Carol Smith; uncles, Michael Norman and Tony Smith. A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, August 24, 2025 at 4:00 PM at Moody Funeral Home Chapel in Mt. Airy with service conducted by Bro. Freddie Hawks. And Bro. Larry Thomas. The family will receive friends on Sunday afternoon from 2:30 until time for the service at the funeral home.
