BETTY CINNAMON PRELL, 80, was born to Arnold & Sarah (Carrico) Cinnamon on September 8, 1944 and passed away peacefully in her home on June 5, 2025 surrounded by her loving family.
Betty attended Butler High School and then graduated from Eastern High School. She was a hair model in her younger days and worked for JCPenny. Betty then stayed at home to raise her children until they reached school age. She then went to work for Liberty Bank, who then became Chase Bank where she retired after 29 years.
Preceding her in death were her devoted husband of 59 years, John E. Prell, Jr. and her parents.
She leaves behind two children, Michelle Prell Harper and John E Prell III (Donna) and three grandchildren that she cherished, Tiffany (Blake) and Dylan Prell and Zachary Harper. Also surviving are siblings, David Cinnamon (Linda), Doris Barnett, and Edward Cinnamon; numerous nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. Betty had many friends including a beloved bunco group of 61 years. She also leaves behind a beloved little grand dog, Winston.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 11, 2025 at St. Edward Catholic Church, 9608 Sue Helen Drive with burial in Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation will be held from 2 -8 p.m. Tuesday, June10, 2025 at Ratterman & Sons – Jeffersontown, 10600 Taylorsville Road.
