Beulah Carole Griffith

Beulah Carole Meadows Griffith, age 87, of Gastonia, North Carolina, formerly of Richlands, Virginia, passed away on Tuesday, February 25, 2025.
She was born March 1, 1937 in Tazewell County, Virginia and was the daughter of the late John Howard Meadows and Stella Cooper Meadows. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by the love of her life and her husband for 66 years, Kenneth Griffith; two sisters, Eleanor Meadows Brown Gustafson and Iva Jean Meadows Cox.
She graduated from Richlands High School Class of 1954. She received a B.S. Degree from Radford College, a Masters Degree from Virginia Commonwealth University; and completed post graduate study at the University of South Carolina; the University of Missouri, St. Louis; and George Washington University in Washington, DC. She held certifications for Reading Specialist, Curriculum Instructional Specialist, and School Administraor. She served on the Curriculum Committee for Central Virginia's Educational Television; and was appointed to assist in developing the reading program for Charleston's Magnet School in conjunction with the College of Charleston's Education Department.

A committal service for Beulah Carole Meadows Griffith will be conducted Friday, February 28, 2025 at 12pm at the Greenhills Memory Gardens Mausoleum #4 with the Rev. Annette Warren officiating. Burial will follow.
