Bonni and I were good friends at WMU. We were both student athlete's . After graduation I moved to northern Mi and she to WI and then back to grand ledge. We lost touch through the busy years but I will never forget what a kind person she was to me and others. Bonni had a very keen intellect and she worked hard at her studies earning her many deans list accolades. What I most remember about her athleticism was her fierce pitching at WMU and when she won All American status. She was a leader in all aspects of her college experiences. I was on the basketball team and one day decided to step up to the plate and try to hit her fast ball ... she threw at 97 miles an hour. It was then that I decided to stick to slow pitch softball. Bonni I wish we would have reconnected during our career years but I will always remember your smile and tenacity for the things in life you cared deeply for. My deepest condolences to your Mom and family.

I remember Bonni as a colleague while at Sparrow outpatient rehabilitation. She was a skilled therapist and always put clients first. She had a great sense of humor and was a people person. She will be missed.

I´m so sorry to hear of Bonnie´s passing. I knew her from high school and enjoyed playing basketball with her. In addition to her athletic skills, she was smart and funny and a great friend. Sincere sympathy to her family.
