Bonnie L. Horner, 74, a lifelong resident of the Bordentown community, passed away peacefully on June 28, 2025. Born in Trenton, NJ, Bonnie was known for her kind heart, warm spirit, and unwavering dedication to her family and neighbors. She took great joy in being a wife and mother, roles she cherished deeply throughout her life. Affectionately known as the local babysitter, Bonnie had a natural gift for caring for children and was beloved by generations of families in her community.
Bonnie enjoyed the simple pleasures in life-playing bingo, camping, and fishing at Lake Ontario. She was a proud member of the Consolidated Fire Association Ladies Auxiliary and valued the friendships she made through years of service.
She will be remembered as a devoted wife, a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, and a caring soul who gave selflessly to those around her.
Bonnie was the daughter of the late Melvin and Jeanette Denelsbeck. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Michael A. Horner; her daughter, Michelle Dudas; and her sisters, Linda Longo and Brenda Funk.
She is survived by her loving daughters and son-in-law, Susan (Scott) Smith and Mary Horner and boyfriend Scott Brockway; her cherished grandchildren, Brian Smith, Kyle Smith, Jacob Smith, Anthony Dudas, Justin Ingling, and Kaitlyn Ingling; and five adored great-grandchildren. She also leaves behind her sister, Patricia A. Sweeney; her brother and sister-in-law, Michael J. Sr. and Kelly Denelsbeck; her special nephew, Michael J. Denelsbeck Jr.; and many other nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends who will miss her dearly.
A celebration of Bonnie's life will be held on Wednesday July 2nd, 2025, 11:00 am at the Bordentown Home for Funerals 40 Crosswicks St. Bordentown NJ 08505. Calling hours will be held Tuesday evening from 6:00 ~ 8:00 pm and again on Wednesday morning 10:00 am until the time of service, Burial will follow at Bordentown Cemetery Bordentown.
