Mr. Iverson was born April 19, 1948 in Tuskegee, AL a son to the late Clinton and Lois (Nealy) Iverson.
Booker was educated in Tuskegee, AL prior to moving to Waterbury at the age of 13 where he resided until his passing. He was employed by Dosert Manufacturing for over 22 years until his retirement. Mr. Iverson would attend House of Prayer Church in Waterbury. "Pig" as he was called by all who knew him, enjoyed fishing, hunting and sports. He was an avid Red Sox and Chicago Bulls fan. Mr. Iverson enjoyed spending time with family, especially his grandchildren. Also in his spare time, he loved to cook and was very good at it. He will truly be missed.
Mr. Iverson is survived by daughter; Angelia Langston Sabin and son; Antwon Iverson both of Waterbury, three grandchildren; Mariah Long, Aubreya Nieves and Aubrey Nieves, five grandchildren; X'zayvion Dickens, L'amra Dickens, Aa'yona Pittman, Amari Nieves and Jade Nieves, two sisters; Gwendolyn Lytell of Waterbury and Judith King of Garner, NC, two brothers; Larry Iverson and Edward Iverson both of Waterbury, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
