Obituary of Brandon Edward Blanchard
Gloversville- Brandon Edward Blanchard, 29, of Amsterdam, New York, passed away unexpectedly on February 5, 2023.
Born January 9, 1994, in Amsterdam, New York, Brandon was a beacon of light to all who knew him. He loved music, dancing, and spending every moment of his time with his loved ones. With a contagious, unforgettable smile, and his heart always on his sleeve, he would capture the heart of all who had the privilege to know and love him. He was passionate about life and overcame mountainous obstacles to live each day to the fullest. He possessed an inordinate amount of trust in everyone, was quick to forgive, and was incapable of hate. If there is anything that we could hold onto, it would be the lesson he taught us through his actions during his short stay with us, which is to love everyone, forgive without a second thought, and to cherish those whom you love. Take no moment for granted, say "I love you" too much, and always, always, dance your heart out.
Brandon is survived by his son, Hayden; his mother, Tonia Blanchard; his father, Dale Blanchard; and his six siblings, Joshua Blanchard, Nicole Parrish, Nicholas Blanchard, Britteny Blanchard, Corey Blanchard, and Dale Blanchard Jr.. He is predeceased by his brother Cody Blanchard.
A celebration of life will be held Thursday, February 9, 2023, at 1:00 p.m. at the Services Center, located at 53 Church Street, Gloversville, NY, 12078.
