Brenda Mitchell Obituary
Brenda Tucker Mitchell, 83, of Monroe, NC passed away on September 30, 2025. She was born in New Hanover, NC on November 11, 1941, to the late Lloyd T. Tucker Sr. and Mary Surratt Tucker. She is also preceded in death by her loving husband Tim Mitchell Sr., son Phillip Alan Mitchell, brother, Lloyd Butch Tucker and sister, Joy Tucker Heath.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00PM on Saturday, October 11, 2025, at High Hill Primitive Baptist Church, 2225 Concord Ave, Monroe, NC 28110, with burial to follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 12:00PM until 12:45PM in the church sanctuary.
Brenda is survived by her son, Tim Edward Mitchell Jr., a grandson Bryan Mitchell (Courtnie), and two great-grandchildren, Emma Mitchell and Brooks Mitchell.
Brenda retired as a Cafeteria Manager at Union County Public Schools and a Cafeteria Manager for Harris Teeter Distribution Center.
The family would like to give a special thank you to Lake Park Nursing Home and Cardinal Hospice. In lieu of flowers the family asks that memorials be made to Alzheimer's and Dementia Association, https://www.alz.org/help-support.
