Love isn't a strong enough word to explain the emotions that I feel for Brendon. I adored him. I met Brendon on March 14, 2019 and circa 2019-2020, Brendon was pretty much my world, along with others in our small friend group. Brendon used to come visit me in Connecticut once a month, sometimes he'd want to visit once a week. Brendon was a loving, protective, loyal, and truly beautiful individual. I think back to that time and I mostly remember so much laughter. We had so much fun together, whether it was watching the movie The Room or another Tommy Wiseau movie together or going on a road trip to New Jersey. My mother and he also got along very well and she loved him like the son she never had. Brendon always looked out for the little guy. I remember one time we were at a friend's house and there was a chubby, very young puppy struggling to roll over in her dog bed, and Brendon immediately ran and rolled her over. He hated seeing others being mistreated and would always do what he could to right the wrongs. He had such a winsome aura about him and was downright adorable when he'd get excited over the small things, like when his mom gifted him a bottle of Hugo Boss cologne and he crowed about how he loved to spray it on and go to work feeling like a rich, successful man. I could gush about Brendon for hours, but I will suffice to say that nothing can fill the Brendon-shaped hole in my heart.
My heart goes out to his family, friends, and girlfriend. I was lucky to be able to attend the wake and meet a lot of you, however brief that meeting was. I wish so much that I'd been able to meet a lot of you under happier circumstances.
