Brent Leo Noorda

Brent Noorda, 73, returned home to his loving Heavenly Father on Sunday, March 6, 2022. He was born on March 28, 1948, to Leo Simon and Flometta Cazier Noorda in Ogden, Utah. He graduated from Box Elder High School in 1966 and graduated from Weber State University in 1968 with an associate degree as a Diesel Mechanic. He lived in Corinne, Woods Cross, and Brigham City.
He married Ilene Wells on July 18, 1969, in the Logan LDS Temple. They were married for 52 wonderful years.
Brent is a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, where he held numerous callings, especially with the youth. He thoroughly enjoyed working with the Addiction Recovery Program and serving as the Branch President of the Box Elder County Jail.
He was employed at Intermountain Cummins Diesel prior to moving to Brigham City to work at Leo's Auto Service with his father. He later ran the family business with his sons.
Brent is an avid fisherman and loved camping with his family, RZR rides with his lovely wife, and snowmobiling with his sons and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents, son Ryan, and granddaughter Evelyn Ilene "Evie".
Brent is survived by his dear wife: Ilene; children: Chad Noorda (Chris), Christina Noorda-Griffin (Ryan), Darin Noorda (Alicia), Kevin Noorda (Kate), Jared Noorda (Jennifer); brother: Clyde Noorda (Margaret); 21 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild with another one on the way.
Funeral Services will be held Friday, March 18, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at the Brigham City West Stake Center, 895 N 625 W, Brigham City, Utah. Viewings will be held at the Brigham City West Stake Center both the night before on Thursday, March 17, 2022, from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. and prior to the service from 9:30 – 10:30 a.m. Interment will be in the Willard City Cemetery.
