Brian C. Cuddy, a loving and devoted husband, father, son, and brother, passed away on September 13, 2023, in Milford, MA. Born on November 20, 1953, in Framingham, MA, Brian was known for his intelligence, thoughtfulness, humor, kindness and unwavering dedication to his family and work.
Brian was a loving husband to Paula J. (Romano) Cuddy and a devoted father to his son, Jack A. Cuddy of Milford. Beloved son of the late Thomas J. Cuddy, Jr. and survived by his mother, Joan C. (Ricca) Cuddy of Ashland and a cherished brother to Thomas J. Cuddy, III of Ashland, Alfred R. Cuddy of Taunton, and Matt and his wife Cathy Cuddy of Framingham. Brian also leaves behind his faithful yellow lab, Max, along with many nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends. He was predeceased by his father-in-law, Al Romano, Jr.
Brian was a proud graduate of Ashland High School and Boston University. His intelligence and work ethic led him to a successful career as a construction manager. His work took him to various locations, including power plants in Buffalo, NY, and significant projects such as the Big Dig and the Zakim and Longfellow Bridges in Boston. Brian's expertise and dedication were evident in his roles as a project manager and inspector of bridges. In addition to his work with the Department of Transportation, Brian was also a Broker with Cuddy Real Estate, continuing his family's legacy in the industry.
Beyond his professional accomplishments, Brian had a deep love for the outdoors and sports. He loved fishing (was a Captain) and enjoyed golf, tennis, and shooting pool in his younger years. In 1993, he won the MA Governor's Cup for catching a 66 lb. striped bass near Martha's Vineyard. Brian was also the third generation in the family to take part in the Framingham Heart Study, demonstrating his commitment to community health and scientific progress.
Brian will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him. His legacy will live on in the hearts of those he loved and the many structures he helped build.

Playing golf with Brian was an experience, to say the least, but was such a pleasure. I could not come close to beating him. It was my pleasure to have know and worked with him. He will be missed. My deepest and most sincere condolences to his family and those who were able to have met him and called him friend.
