Brian Wayne Goins

Brian Wayne Goins, 47, of High Point, passed away unexpectedly at his earthly home and entered his heavenly home on Friday, June 6, 2025.
Born on October 14, 1977, in High Point, NC, Brian was the son of the late Billy Goins and Janice Todd Woods. Brian was a gypsy soul and he was the life of the party anywhere he went. He was a lifetime jokester, a lover of all genres of music, and found his greatest joy in the company of family and friends. His generous spirit, sharp mind, and welcoming heart made him unforgettable to everyone who knew him. He loved children deeply, had a passion for travel, and was known for his warmth and never ending knowledge of random facts.
In addition to his father, Brian was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Walter Billy Goins and Myra Cruthis Goins; maternal grandparents, Woodrow & Arlene Todd; step-grandfather Tony Woods; nephew, Zion Sams, and his niece, Selah Sams.
He is survived by his loving mother, Janice Todd Woods and her husband, Bobby Woods of Greensboro; beloved sister, Crystal Sams and her husband Jeremy, of Archdale; treasured nieces, Eliora and Evaelia Sams; Auntie Debbie Budwine and her husband Terry; aunt Vicky Snider; special cousin, Mallary Voss and her husband Eric; their children, Silas and Sawyer Voss; special cousin Charlene Stout and husband Scott, along with their children; step-grandmother Jackie Woods Hoffman; step-siblings, Joshua Woods and Jessica Woods; and his little best buddy, Xavier Connelly. He is also survived by many other cherished family members from the Todd/Goins/Cruthis/Woods side.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, June 13, 2025, in the Archdale Chapel of Cumby Family Funeral Service, with Jeremy Sams officiating. Committal will follow the service. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
