My sweet grandma, a voicemail from you randomly popped up on my phone the other day and it made me realize I can´t pick up the phone to call you back. I will forever cherish that voicemail and listen to it on repeat anytime I´m missing you. It´s not fair you were taken from us so soon. I want you back just to hug you and hear your contagious laugh. I will drink my Starbucks with you every time I have one, and I will talk to you on my way to work and tell you how much I miss you. I love you so much and my heart still longs for you. I miss you so much, grandma and I hope you´re watching over me from heaven. I love you.

Today's the first time we had a Birthday in our family since you passed. This picture was taken 5 years ago at Owen's birthday party. Aunt Carol we love you and miss you so very much! You always remembered everyone's birthdays: if it was going to their party, sending a beautiful card with a Special message or calling on our Special day. We miss all your Special Blessings

My dearest grandma, I am at a loss for words and my heart is broken. You were my best friend, we have so many memories together and shared so many laughs. You were the best grandma anyone could hope for. I´ll never forget our trips to the mall, Sbarro, Target and Wal-Mart and so many more. Whenever I was stressed or sad, you were only a phone call away. We´d talk for hours about life and I never took those calls for granted. You were always the first person I went too and you just listened. I am unsure how I´m going to continue on without you, but I know you´re watching over me. I hope heaven treats you well and you have all the parties you want. I will miss you so much, and I love you to the moon and back.

Ever since I was a baby, you´ve been with me. Some of my first ever memories were with you, such as you taking me to and from school in kindergarten, and going to parks and having picnics with you. For the first half of my life, I saw you nearly everyday and those days were some of the best days of my life. We played games, went places, chatted, made food; we did everything together. I can´t thank you enough for giving me an amazing childhood and these last two years of adulthood. I will always be thinking of you and I hope you are having a blast with your heavenly family up there. Love you Granny.

Where do I start? Carol, you were warm and loving from the first time we met working Sears bed and bath so long ago. You were so fun to tease which lead to so many laughs! You introduced me to your son who has been my husband now for almost 24 years! You have been a wonderful grandma for our son and have been there for babysitting countless times. We love you and miss you already. We know you are with your parents and Donna, so we are happy for you! No more sickness, no more suffering. Finally you have joy and peace. We love you

Thank you mom for always being there for Sara, Gunnar, and me. I love you so much, and miss you immensely! Though sadness fills my heart, I take comfort in knowing that you are now free from pain and are my angel in heaven. You have shown me how to love, and you have provided me with life lessons that continue to guide me. I will never forget the joy you brought to Sara, Gunnar, and me, and I am so thankful for the memories we made together through our various adventures. I love you more!
