Carol S. Steen

Carol S. Steen, 71, of Warren, OH passed away October 10, 2025 at St. Joseph Warren Hospital. She was born May 13, 1954 in Warren, OH, a daughter of Carl Edgar and Eulene Kay (Sowers) Beer. On February 2, 1974 she married the love of her life, Harold "Sonny" Steen.
Carol was a 1972 graduate of Joseph Badger High School. She later retired from Warren City Schools Food Service after 20 years.
Carol was active in the Tod Avenue United Methodist Church. She also enjoyed helping with the Boy Scouts. Carol had a heart for children, and volunteered with Children's Services for over 25 years. Her greatest love was for her family, the many children she fostered and adopted over the years.
She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Harold "Sonny" Steen; mother, Eulene Kay Beer; her children, Kurt (Angie) Steen, Loni Steen and many other foster children; brother, Eugene Beer and sisters, Sandra Kerfoot and Lori (Duane) Bates.
She was preceded in death by her father, Carl Edgar Beer; daughter, Ashlie Steen and brother-in-law William Kerfoot.
Services will be held at 7:00 pm on Tuesday, October 14, 2025 at the Carl W. Hall Funeral Home, where Pastor MaryAnn Rufener will officiate.Visitation will be from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm prior to the service on October 14, 2025 at the Carl W. Hall Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to an animal charity of your choice in Carol's memory.
