Carolyn "Joyce" Carroll, age 61, of New Castle, passed away on August 17, 2024, at Ball Memorial Hospital, in Muncie. She was born on November 4, 1962, to the late Louie and Emma Jean (Lawson) Carroll.
Joyce was a devoted Christian who loved her Lord and her family. She was, above everything, a loving grandmother, who adored her grandchildren and treasured spending time with them. She lit up every time they called her “Nana.” She also was a fan of bingo and could often be found anticipating the next number.
Joyce is survived by her daughter, Amber (Chad Easton) Ford; grandchildren, Brieonna, Liam, and Lorelai; her sisters, Connie (Danny) Gregory, Norma Barricks; as well as several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister Anna McGaha.
Services for Joyce will be held at 1:00 pm Thursday, August 22, 2024 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service in New Castle, IN. Visitation will be from 11:00 am until the time of service. Burial will follow at Green Hills Memory Gardens. You may express condolences or share memories of Joyce at www.hinsey-brown.com.
