Carolyn Krieger Obituary
Carolyn Clausen Krieger passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 7, 2024, at the age of 81. She was born in New Orleans, LA on September 3, 1942. Carolyn grew up in Belle Chasse, LA and graduated from Belle Chasse High School, class of 1960.
She is survived by her daughter, Jody Krieger; her siblings, Charlene Clausen and Chrissy Clausen Bassett; and her grandchildren, Gabrielle Krieger Stewart and Sydney Krieger. She is also survived by her nieces, nephews, cousins, and wonderful lifelong friends.
Carolyn is preceded in death by her mother and father, Anais Heim Clausen and Christian Anthony Clausen, Jr.; her loving husband John Krieger; her son, John T. Krieger; and her siblings, Christian Clausen III and Robert Clausen.
Carolyn was incredibly artistic and creative. She enjoyed cooking and sewing and had a true compassion for animals.
The family expresses their deepest gratitude to the outstanding care provided by Greenbriar Community Care Center and Notre Dame Hospice.
A Celebration of Life and burial will be scheduled at a later date.
