Celebrating A Life Well Lived
Cecelia Darlene Anderson affectionally known as, "Doll," was born March 15, 1958 to the union of Kenneth & Arlene Lee in Columbus, Ohio.
She attended Columbus Public Schools and graduated from Mifflin High School, class of 1976.
She went on to pursue a career with The Ohio State University. While being employed, she held various positions retiring in September 2011 as an accountant with 32 outstanding years of service.
Cecelia was married to Henri Anderson and from this union they welcomed their beautiful daughter, Dynasty Marie.
She gave her life to Christ in 1974 under the leadership of Bishop C.M. Grant. Participating in Sunday school, kitchen ministry, choir ministry and praise team ministry. She later became a member of Christian Outreach Ministries under the leadership of Pastor Lovell Garrett and remained a faithful member.
Doll enjoyed game shows, shopping, road trips, cooking, Ohio State Football and singing. She was a member of The Love Choir, under the leadership direction of Von Thomas. She even sung the National Anthem for The Ohio State Hockey Team. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her granddaughter, "Libby."
Cecelia was preceded in death by her father, Kenneth W. Lee; mother, Arlene E. Lee; and sister Sharleane Gholston.
She is survived by her daughter, Dynasty M. Anderson; grand-daughter, Olivyah G. Anderson; brothers, Kenneth (Tiniki) Lee; Dwayne (Carrie) Lee; sisters, Kimberley Arrington; Adrienne (Jamal) Garland; and James Gholston (brother-in-law), special sister friends, Janet Williamson; Vonda Duckens-Lee; Minnie Roberts; her life-long buddies from OSU, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
