Charitee B. McKenna, 76, of Cecil, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, January 28, 2024 at St. Vincent Hospital, Green Bay with her family by her side. She was born on March 7, 1947 in Gillett, daughter of the late Walter and Nora (Dumke) Braun. Charitee was a graduate of Gillett High School with the class of 1965. On March 11, 1999 she married Joseph McKenna. Charitee enjoyed going to the casino and being outdoors, especially collecting rocks. She was a friend and confidant to everybody she met. Survivors include her husband: Joseph McKenna, Cecil; six children: Kory (Mitch) Severson, Sussex, Douglas (fiancée: Stephanie) Trapp, New Berlin, Jack McKenna, Milwaukee, Scott (Heidi) McKenna, Germantown, Kent (fiancée: Alison) McKenna, Richfield, Matt (fiancée: Mandy) McKenna, Germantown; 10 grandchildren: Nikki (fiancé: Mitch) Severson, Mike (Nicole) Severson, Kaylen (Zach) Mathe, Elaina Trapp, Tyler Trapp, Dane, Tanner, Brynn McKenna, Tyler and Hayley McKenna; one great-grandson: James Mathe; one sister: Muriel Wilke, Underhill; three brothers-in-law: Tom (Carol) McKenna, Jim (Sandra) McKenna, Dennis McKenna; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. She was preceded in death by her parents: Walter and Nora Braun; brothers and sisters: Harold (Eleanor) Braun, Virginia (Ed) Patzer, Lulabelle (Leon) Drath, Buddy Braun and Charmaine (Dave) Stewart. Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM until the time of services at 2:00 PM on Saturday, February 3, 2024 at Hillside Assembly of God, 5890 WI Hwy 22, Gillett, with burial of her cremated remains to follow at Wanderers Rest Cemetery, Gillett. The family would like to extend an invitation to all those who attend services to join them for a lunch at Hillside Assembly of God following committal prayers at the Cemetery. The Kuehl Funeral Home, 108 E Main St. Gillett, is assisting the family with funeral arrangements.
