Charlene Cox, 61, passed away in her home on August 14, 2025, surrounded by loved ones. No visitation is scheduled, as cremation has already taken place. A Memorial service will be held at West Funeral Home Chapel on August 25, 2025, at 3:00 pm.
Charlene was born November 22, 1963, to Clifford Cox and Lucy Cox in Newfound land, Canada.
She later relocated with her family to Carlsbad, New Mexico, where she graduated from Carlsbad High School.
Charlene enjoyed being with her grandkids, cooking, baking and gardening. She loved going to the river and spending time with her family. She was an endearing woman, very loyal, caring and passionate in life. She was strong-willed and understanding and she will truly be missed.
Charlene is preceded in death by her life partner Dale Thompson, her father Clifford Cox, and her brother Craig Cox.
She is survived by her mother Lucy Cox, her brother Clyde Cox, her sister Collene Poole (Cox), her children Aaron Lewis (Kareatha Ruiz), Lacey Thompson (Matthew Methola), Dakota Thompson (Sadie Thompson), Taylor Scott, Dustyn Young, and Daniel Manzy, her grandchildren Chaos, Rylee, Aalyiah, Sabastian, Heavinli, Astaria, Jace, Ember, Astrid, AJ aka Aaron Jr., and Kylo.

A Special Thanks to Enhabit Hospice and extended family and friends who have continuously shown their support.
