Charles Niemeyer, age 77, of Red Lion, PA, formerly of Franklin Square, NY, and West Hempstead, NY, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, August 17, 2025. Born in Queens NY, on June 25, 1948, he was the son of the late Henry "Harry" Niemeyer and the late Ruth (Lehmann) Niemeyer. Charles was the devoted husband of the late Kathleen (Sealey) Niemeyer; they shared many happy years together before her passing on June 2, 2009.

Charles worked for many years as a road crew worker for Nassau County, NY. He and his wife also owned and operated the Corner Pub in West Hempstead, NY, where they welcomed many friends and neighbors. He especially enjoyed time spent restoring his 1963 Falcon convertible, and above all, he cherished the moments he shared with his grandchildren, who brought great joy to his life.

Charles is lovingly remembered by his son, Charles Niemeyer Jr., and his wife, Tiffany; his daughter, and son in law Dawn and Robb Ebel; his sister, Mary Muller, and her husband, Mike; and his beloved grandchildren, Anthony and Elaina Niemeyer.

A private graveside service will be held for Charles, in Memorial Cemetery of St. John's Church in Syosset, NY, at the convenience of the family. Wagner-Elfner and Burg Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 134 W. Broadway, Red Lion, is assisting the family with arrangements.
