Christopher Nauert Obituary
Publish in a newspaper
graduate of St. Helen Grade School in Shively and Saint Xavier High School in
Louisville. He was 20-year employee of Walmart and a past employee of Winn Dixie.
Chris was member of Boy Scout Troop 31 at St. Helen as a youth and attended Mary
Queen of Peace Catholic Church.
Chris was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Ann Selvage.
He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Theresa (McKinney), daughter Dr. Holly Nauert;
brothers Jerry (Monica), Tim (Mary - Fiancée), and Jack (Jackie); brother-in-law, Rick
Selvage; niece Constance Miller (Ryan); nephews Alex Nauert (Caroline), Tom Selvage,
Rob Selvage (Kelli), Dan Selvage (Johanna), Brandon Nauert (Carmel), and Blake
Nauert (Jess), and great-nieces and nephews: Charli May Nauert, Wesli Nauert, Josie
Miller, Riley Selvage, Owen Selvage, Jolee Selvage, Cole Fleming, Wade Fleming,
Scarlett Selvage, Jaxon Nauert, Harper Nauert, Jozlynn Smith, and Colt Smith.
Visitation will be from 2:00 – 8:00 p.m. Friday, October 18, 2024, at Ratterman Southwest Funeral
Home, 4832 Cane Run Road, Louisville, KY.
A funeral Mass will be at 10:00 a.m. Saturday October 19, 2024, at Mary Queen of
Peace Catholic Church, 4005 Dixie Highway, Shively, KY followed by burial at St.
Michael Cemetery.
