Clara Charles

Clara Jeneil Wood Charles, passed away at the age of 84 on January 28th, 2025 in Washington Utah. She was born June 25th, 1940 in Minersville Utah to Floyd and Beulah Wood. She was raised in Minersville Utah. She graduated from Beaver High School in 1958. She married Donald L Charles on August 12, 1960 in Pioche, Nevada. Clara had four children.
Clara served many positions in the Church of Jesus Christ. She was loved by those with whom she labored. Clara and Donald were sealed in the LDS Temple in 1998. Raising her children and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren was the highlight of her day. She loved being with her family in the mountains.
She was preceded in death by her parents Floyd and Beulah Wood, her siblings James Grant, Patsy Joyce, and Ina Jolene.
She is survived by her husband Donald L Charles, (brother) Royal Vance Wood and her 4 children Lesa Dawn Yeager (Charles), Scott W. Charles (Pam), Lynn Marie Fox (James), and Donald Lance Charles (Nona) and 13 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 8th, 2025 at 11:00 am at the Minersville Utah 2nd Ward Chapel (130 West Main, Minersville, UT). A viewing will be held prior to the funeral from 10:00 - 11:00 am. Interment will follow at the Minersville Cemetery under the direction of Southern Utah Mortuary.
