Cliff Newton Obituary

Cliff was born on June 25, 1985, in Gainesville, GA. He lived in many places throughout his life including Atlanta, GA; Dallas TX; Charlotte, NC; Louisville, KY; and Beaufort, SC. He was a graduate of Oldham County High School and the University of Louisville. Cliff was also a Corporal in the United States Marine Corps.
Cliff is preceded in death by his grandparents, Ben & Peggy Grimes, Don & Jean Newton; and his brother, Brian Jennemann. He is survived by his parents, Betsy & Tom Schieber, and Bill & Debbie Newton; his sister, Mary (Matt) Cooper; two nieces (Morgan & Reagan) and nephew (Logan) whom he adored dearly. Cliff also left behind a loving extended family and numerous friends.
USMC military honors will be rendered at Beaufort National Cemetery on Friday, January 26, 2024 at 12:00pm
There will be a Dice Run fundraiser on Saturday, January 27th starting at 9:30 a.m. with a celebration of life to follow at 3:30pm at the VFW Post 8760, 37 Castle Rock Rd, Beaufort, SC 29906
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that a memorial donation in Cliff's name be made to the VFW Post 8760, 37 Castle Rock Rd, Beaufort, SC 29906 an organization Cliff was deeply passionate about and supported as a veteran of the war in Iraq.
