Clyde Lynn Douglas passed away October 3, 2025, of complications of Alzheimer's disease. He was born July 17, 1944, to Donald James Douglas and Lida Clarice Garner. He was raised by Don and Dixie Douglas.

He married the love of his life, Judy Lee Winters on February 14, 1964. Together they had two amazing sons, Troy L. and Randy G. Douglas.

He loved hunting, fly fishing, horses and anything outdoors. He loved sports, especially basketball and football.

He could fix anything. He was an awesome husband, father and grandfather. His grandchildren were his greatest joy and he loved spending time with them. He retired from the Defense Depot Ogden.

He is survived by his loving wife, Judy; his sons, Troy L. (Wendy) Douglas, Randy G. (Becky) Douglas; grandchildren, Jazmine (Jordan) Hamblin, Jake Douglas, and Madison Douglas; sister, Pam Hampton, sister-in-law, Karlene Douglas; brothers-in-law, Norm Hammer, Kenny (Kim) Winters, and Lance (Dian) Winters; and many nieces and nephews who all have fond memories of him.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Gary Douglas; sisters, Sonya Harbertson and Karen Hammer; brothers-in-law, Eddie Harbertson and Mike Winters; nephews, Michael Winters and Adam Winters.

"Grieve not for me". Remember the good times, the laughter, the fun we had. The good life I lived, when I was strong. Continue my heritage, I'm counting on you. Keep smiling and surely the sun will shine thru. My mind is at ease, my soul is at rest. Remember the good things, I truly was blessed. Continue traditions, no matter how small, go on, live your life, don't just stare at the wall. I miss you all dearly, so keep your chin up until the day comes we're together again.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that a donation be made to Alzheimer's Research.

Graveside services will be held Monday, October 13, 2025 at 11:30 am at the Plain City Cemetery, 4373 W 1975 N., under the care of Myers Mortuary of Ogden.
